About Albert
Albert Stanislaus was born in 1963 on the twin island republic of Trinidad and Tobago, that lies off the coast of Venezuela. He spent his childhood years capturing the picturesque world in which he lives, and developed a deep passion for art. He considers himself self taught, acquiring his skills by attending various art workshops held by prominent Caribbean artists.
"As a young child around five years old, I remember going to down town Port of Spain where my grandmother worked. She was a janitorial cleaner for an Insurance Company called Imperial Life. To keep me still, she would gather some magazines from around the office. She knew I liked looking at pictures. There were national geographic magazines among them, also there was The Saturday Post."
